Bunnies hop, sniff, and look cute...
You might just invite them to a garden party.
SQUIRRELS
you
would
not invite
ANYWHERE...
I spent the weekend planting
pretty little flowers
basil,
oregano,
thyme,
mint...
This morning
while I was out
running errands,
They came...
and did this....
I might
have to reconsider my
my strategy
on squirrel deterrents.
Apparently they love red pepper,
cayenne, and black pepper,
which I had ground finely,
and sprinkled all over the plants.
I will no longer correct
my son when he calls them
Tree-Rats.
no smiles.
we don't have squirrels here so I still find them amusing and cute.. probably wouldn't if they'd cause a mess like that...
ReplyDeleteHope you had a lovely easter.. ciao xxx Julie
That would infuriate me! We have squirrels but I don't think they've ever bothered our plants. Maybe because we have so much natural vegetation for them.
ReplyDeleteThey are destructive little things, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteIt makes me wonder why people plant things like nut trees that are open invitations.
Yes, I'm afraid your son is correct.
ReplyDeleteGeorge agrees.
Thank you ALL for your sympathy and understanding.....I haven't killed anything yet, and really don't want to, but they test me....smiles!
